This is the time of year to start applying for upcoming exhibitions and Sales! A familiar name to many in our community, our presenter Jan 24th is Dale Roddick, a potter and photographer with a career as resident photographer at Sunnybrook Hospital. A few years ago, Dale transitioned work to expand his free-lance photography business in Toronto. Photo credits for his images can be found in Toronto Potters and FUSION Fireworks Exhibition catalogues for 25 years. Besides photography for potters and other commercial clients, Dale's passion is nature photography.  

At Toronto Potters on Tuesday evening, Dale will speak about his direction as a photographer through his images, show his own ceramics and will demonstrate how to take high quality photographs for shows and sales, promotional material and social media, using a commonly-sourced portable set-up. Tips on best practises, lightening and equipment will be covered. 

Toronto Potters invite all members to meet on the 4th Tuesday of each month at the Gardiner Museum between 7:00-8:30pm, to connect with colleagues and new members, to network and to find out what’s coming up in the community of ceramics. To join or renew your membership CLICK HERE.
