Artist Statement

I am a recent BA graduate and a young artist always looking to improve on my craft. As soon as I touched clay, I fell in love and have never looked back. I focus primarily on functional pottery, including but not limited to cups, bowls, and vases. I also create sculptural pieces from time to time. I use various clay bodies, glazes, and techniques - I am always experimenting and learning. My work as an artist is inspired by nature and the human experience. I love creating pieces that are a joy to make and a pleasure for others to hold and experience.
