I am a native of Sao Paulo, Brazil living in Toronto. Before moving here in 1990 I worked as a Graphic Designer. Here in Canada I have embarked on a journey of learning, discovery and creation. Captivated by the possibilities of the clay, I have developed a body of functional work. I love to design and explore new possibilities for everyday objects, and recently I started to explore sculptural work. I'm fascinated by shapes and forms and I like to play with textures and surfaces. Teaching ceramic art is another passion of mine, to be able to share the knowledge acquired over the years with newcomers is very rewarding. I'm passionate about what I do. |
