A photographer by trade, I have been dabbling in clay since taking a night school pottery class at Northern Secondary in 1988. Making the transition from film to digital photography has been a bitter sweet experience. Fortunately the involvement of computers in the pottery world has been less intrusive. I felt like an impostor when I first started producing and selling my work as a potter. Now I find both mediums feeding each other creatively. Parting with what I feel is my more significant work is made easier when I know I have a good photo of it.
