POTTERY CLASSES

Learn to create and decorate your own pottery at the NEW Toronto Potters Studio located at 180 Shaw St. Unit #107 Toronto Ontario, M6J 2W5 in the beautiful and historic Artscape Youngplace Building.

Whether you are a beginner or have some experience, we welcome all levels. Choose one of the course offerings below to experience the magic of clay. Our instructors are professional artists, eager to share their wealth of knowledge with you!

Please note *Class registration fees are non-refundable but can be transferred to another individual before the first class. Your paid fees will be fully refunded if Toronto Potters cancels a class session due to low registration.


Monday Night Wheel — SOLD OUT!–

Whether you are a beginner or more advanced, build your skill at throwing on the potter’s wheel. The class will explore the qualities of clay, while learning to create cylinders, bowls, handles, and feet. Throwing demonstrations by the instructor will stress an appreciation of good craftsmanship. Learn decorative techniques at all stages of making.  Small class sizes ensure individual attention from the instructor.

Friday Night Play with Clay

Want to give clay a try? This class will introduce you to a variety of hand building and pottery wheel skills and techniques ranging from simple to advanced-and all fun! Learn decorative techniques at all stages of making. Small class sizes ensure individual attention from the instructor.
